Rate the last movie you saw

It's really not Snyder's fault since he's going shot by shot for that graphic novel as well, but it's probably the most historically inaccurate movie ever made. Right up there with Air Bud. Usually when a movie is made based on a historical event, at least some parts of it actually happened. Critics hated it and I don't think it did awesome at the box office. I'm not a big fan of Frank Miller either, everybody raves about Dark Knight Returns and Sin City but I'm just not a fan. There's far better "dark" Batman one-offs and Sin City is kind of disgusting which is fine as long as the stories are great, but they really aren't.

X-Men: First Class - 8/10 - really enjoyed this

The Avengers - 8.5/10 - awesome comic movie coming from a non-comic fan. Tough to deal with all the necessary screen time and stories but they did it well.

I'm with you for Woman in Black, that movie was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I tried fast forwarding a few times to see if it picks up, but nope, still Harry Potter sitting at a desk or talking to someone about something boring.

I didn't think Woman in Black was that bad. I saw it in the theaters though and it was a little more suspenseful and in full effect. Not great, but not as bad as some other movies I guess.

Haven't posted in a while so I'll give a few reviews...

Knight and Day-4/10
-Watched this on tv and was unimpressed. Certainly glad I didn't spend any money to see it. A very cliche, predictable action movie.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine-7.5/10
-Was somewhat impressed with it. I thought Hugh Jackman and the actor who played Victor/Sabretooth were both very good. Compelling story with pretty good acting for the most part. Not a must-see, but worth watching.

The Five-Year Engagement-6.5/10
-Average rom-com. Saw it with the girlfriend. I've definitely seen worse. Jason Seel is funny and pretty easy to sympathize with.

Avengers-9/10
-Lived up to my expectations. I'll definitely echo the sentiments that Captain America and Scarlett were in way over their heads

Prometheus 6/10.
the prequel to Alien.
an interesting combination of "2010 a Space Odyssey" and "Alien", that proved only a couple things. Never bang a chick in outer space. Women never watch the lumber jack's on the History Channel, and learn to run in a different direction from falling objects.

Snow White and the Huntsman 6/10
Don't know what it is about this movie. Everything was fine about it but it just didn't do it for me. I wanted to like it but it seemed kind of disjointed and the lead looked like the stuck up popular girl from high school.
