Moneyball 9/10
I felt it was pretty historically accurate, and thought it was an awesome time at the movies.
I felt like the movie catered to me, and seeing some of the older players just makes it that more in depth for me.
Any baseball fan should see this. Awesome time. ;-D

Maybe he's gone in for an advance film screening, but that would be too far-fetched, wouldn't it.

The Man from Nowhere: 8.5/10

Pretty awesome movie from one of those asian countries (I think Korea?) with a bad ass ex-special forces hero who goes on a rampage to save his kidnapped neighbor. Good story, some awesome fight scenes, gory at times, highly recommend. It's also on Netflix streaming for easy watching.

Thx for the recommendation. Just watched Taken .. 76/110. I've got 30 things I could find wrong with it, but if I liked it for what it is, it wasn't terrible. The part up to where Peter gets hit by a car is great, (imagine being seat belted into a car and being punched in the kidneys repeatedly %-6 ) the rest of the movie just leaves more questions than answers.

The Help - 9/10

The wife read the book and really enjoyed it so I took her to see the movie tonight and I was pleasantly surprised.

Let Me In

I'm not sure how I'd rate it. I can't think of what was wrong with it. It was amazing. Maybe I'll think of something I didn't like about it in the morning.

Last weekend, I saw...

Attack The Block - 7/10

A silly premise for a film: South London youth gangs defending their housing estate against invading aliens. As bad as that sounds, I kept hearing good things about it and I can say I enjoyed the movie. It's a fast-paced sci-fi horror film with its share of dark humor and even a bit of social commentary thrown in. In light of the London riots (and having been there at the time), I silently cheered for the bits where the aliens killed some of the chavs. All in all, good fun.

It has been awhile since I watched Taken, but from what I remember you liked it much more than I did. I was fairly bored through most of the movie which is a bad sign for an action flick and some of the action scenes were so implausible I thought I was watching a Crank movie.
