I'm pretty sure I didn't see the 3rd movie but the 4th is pretty much the same as the rest of the series. If you like the others you'll like this one.

My gf loves these movies, so I'm seeing it tonight, with Hangover Part II on the bill for tomorrow evening.

Ken Jeong(chinese guy) is pretty funny on Community, he pretty much only plays variations of that same character though.

I went and saw I Am Number Four against my better judgement and it was pretty much what I expected. Basically take the plot of Highlander, remove the Queen music and sword fights, then dumb it down to target it at the Twilight crowd. I really want to find a good superhero type movie that isn't based on Marvel / DC stuff where most (geeks?) already know the backstory and bad guys. Something like Unbreakable but not so pretentious. #4 definitely isn't it, but does have some decent special effects. I guess I will have to make do with watching Highlander again.

Meek's Cutoff--5/10

Despite the critical praise, there is really not a lot to like in this movie. It is long and boring. The cinematography is supposed to impressive, but is really overrated. This movie reminds me of the Emperor's New Clothes: many will that claim that they see something beautiful, but in reality, there is nothing there.

The Hangover Part II - 5/10

It had its laughs, but there was just a ton left to be desired. When you talk about recycling a plot, this pretty much took the cake. I understand not deviating from what works, but c'mon...

Bridemaids - 8/10

this was a great comedy movie. Kristin Wiig is absolutely hillarious. the only thing bringing it down to an 8 was there was a little bit too much sappy, but what do you expect from a movie called bridesmaids.

The Hurt Locker - 7/10
A very good war movie that doesn't try to go over the top. I liked it and thought about giving it an 8 but it just misses.
