Watched a few last week:

The Wrestler 8/10: I hate wrestling, so this film had its work cut out for it. Mickey Rourke was amazing. Marisa Tomei is one hot 45 year old and was very convincing I thought. Character development was outstanding.

The Crazies 9/10: This was a great flick, how had I not heard about it til I saw it on Netflix? A remake of some 60's movie I never heard of either. More suspense/thriller than horror I thought, bit still had some pretty horrifying scenes. Will keep you on the edge of your seat for sure

Black Snake Moan 7/10: I've always been a Christina Ricci fan. Worth watching just for her. Samuel L. Jackson can sing? Well? Not exactly what I was expecting from the trailer, but then again it was all it said it would be. Much better movie than I thought it would be.

Next 3 Days

Really enjoyed it, though it was a lot longer than it needed to be. I don't want to describe too much about it, because the movie's strength is the character development, so I'll just say that the last 30 minutes or so were pretty darn good from an action perspective (on top of the nice character development before that).

Really hated the flashback at the end.

It's one of my personal favs! ;-D

Sucker Punch 3/10. 40 min of incredible mindless action and 1 hour of mind numbing dialogue.

That's a shame. It's been getting terrible reviews but it has such an awesome trailer. I wanted so much for this to be a good movie.

Srsly? I'd heard such meh things about it. And it has Timothy Olyphant. The guy's named after a LotR creature, fcs.

Dare I put it back on a list?

Yeah I was really looking forward to Suckerpunch, I posted the trailer in here months ago calling it a "visual orgasm" and Mook gave me crap about it. Apparently from the reviews, it is just a visual orgasm and nothing more. It is a shame. And yeah, the Lemony Snickets girl is hot.

I was also really looking forward to The Crazies when I first saw it was redone, but I thought it was poorly executed. There was some creepy good scenes, but overall it was meh. Personally, I'll watch any movie that is in the "zombie" genre. If you are really into zombie/infected/apocalyptic flicks, I'd check it out. If not, don't bother.

Saw two movies last week, both with the girlfriend.

Hall Pass-7/10
Limitless-7/10

We were both very entertained during both movies. They are obviously very different. Hall Pass was funnier than expected and Limitless was a cool concept. Bradley Cooper did a great job. Neither is a must-see, but they were good uses of time ;-D

Not an awesome movie but I was definately entertained. It's good enough to watch so you might as well put it on the list.
