Lol. There's probably a draft.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I am watching the original Batman movie, the one based on the old TV show, and it is absolutely incredibly so-bad-its-so-good.

8/10 for intentional ridiculousness. I am laughing my ass off right now.

Fox Movie Channel if you've got it. ;-D

Saw two this weekend. I keep getting free movie tickets from our grocery store...

Blades of Glory - 7.5/10 - it's really funny. The move is ridiculous and the entire situation just makes everything laugh out loud funny.

Blood Diamond - 8.5/10 - I don't understand how this movie wasn't even nominated for best picture. I thought it was better than Babel and the Departed. Definitely rent it.

Yeah, I thought it was great too, and certainly as good as those two you named.

Just watched This Film Is Not Yet Rated, recorded it last night, and I thought it was very insightful. A great look into something that most people probably never think about.

Anyways I give it a 8/10, I can't imagine how Kirby Dick felt when he submitted his film.

Yeah, I caught it on IFC over the weekend. The only downside is that it just gives me something else to be pissed off about. Stupid MPAA.

It's amazing how we think that because there is a ratings system, our movies aren't censored. But they are, because if a panel of "normal people" decide that a film is just a little too over the top (and it can take just one, benign scene) and give it an NC-17, then the movie is dead because theaters won't show NC-17 films.

It's ridiculous and this is why most HBO programming is better than 90% of all feature films; because it's the last place where creative freedom actually exists.
