A-Team - 5-10

Acting was lacking, but it was fairly funny and some good action until the end, which was just too ridiculous for my tastes. Worthy of putting at the bottom of your Netflix queue.

Little boys and girls, they all love me
Come sit on the lap of I-C-E
And let me tell ya a story or two
About a punk-ass n**** I knew
Named Jack, he wasn't that nimble, wasn't that quick
Jumped over the candlestick and burnt his d**k
Ran up the street cause he was piping hot
Met a b***h named Jill on the bus stop
Dropped a line or two, and he had the hoe
At that type of s**t he's a pro

Ha...definitely. If Cube died in 1995, we'd remember him for all of his music up to and including Lethal Injection, plus Boyz n the Hood, Higher Learning, and Friday, but not Anaconda, The Players Club, the horrible Friday sequels, the Are We There Yet? trilogy, and all of the crappy music he put out over the last 15 years.

Then you wouldn't have Barber Shop. :,-(

Get Him To The Greek - 6.5/10 - Pretty good...I laughed about as much as I do with other comedy movies. I don't know if I've been spoiled from funny TV shows but most of the comedy movies in the last 10 years have underwhelmed me. There's way too much in them that isn't funny, whereas in the good sitcoms, almost every line is a joke in some way.

An Education - 7.5/10 - Kind of a chick flick I guess but I enjoyed it. It was well-written and the father and Helen were both pretty funny.

She's Out of My League - 6/10 - Not as funny as I expected considering it was compared to the Hangover for a comedy. Cute movie but I did like the guy's rating system. Marnie a 2. ;-D :-D

I got a cool book on Amazon for 49 cents pluss $3.99 shipping and handling. It's written by a couple of Philly sportswriters (Ray Didinger and Glen Macnow) and it is called "The Ultimate Book of Sports Movies." Cool book if you are looking for some very light reading and some recommendations on good movies to watch.

Their top 10:
1. Rocky (Philly bias, but so what - it's is a great movie)
2. Hoosiers
3. Raging Bull
4. The Natural
5. Bull Durham
6. Slap Shot
7. The Longest Yard
8. The Hustler
9. Caddyshack
10. North Dallas Forty

For you baseball fanatics, Field of Dreams came in at 11, a League of Their Own was 22 and Major League was 25. The Rookie - 34. Eight Men Out - 41.
