Life of Mammals series: 10/10

David Attenborough is becoming my hero after watching this series and the "Life" series. It's stream-able on Netflix right now so if you get a chance watch it. The Predators episode is probably the best one as you would expect but they are all entertaining.

No Way To Treat a Lady: 9/10

A great 60's cat and mouse serial killer story. It's too bad that there are so few horror/thrillers these days that don't rely on gore and shock to fill the seats.

This'll be interesting......

Avatar 2/10

Holy ___ that was boring. And clichéd. I got bored of looking at the pretty pictures half an hour from the end and played on the laptop.

The story was that cookie-cuttered it kind of made me angry. They could of done all sorts of interesting things, but no - formulaic story must please sheeple.

If you haven't watched it, and aren't impressed by shiny objects, don't bother. :-t

The value in Avatar is seeing it in 3-D in a theater.

Yup. Avatar is only a decent movie on its own. Give it the full blown IMAX experience and it is truly something.

Twin Dragons - 8/10 - So hilariously stupid. It's a film about identical twins separated at birth; one is a concert pianist and one is a mechanic who's mixed up in the Hong Kong mob, and they're also both Jackie Chan. The special effects used to put two Jackie Chans in the same scene was outdated when the movie came out in 1992; it looks like someone just went frame by frame and made lame cutouts on whatever the proto-Photoshop program was. Jackie Chan #2's hair never stopped moving. His sidekick is intolerably annoying and one of the main female characters is so freakin' dumb that she doesn't realize that there's two of them even when all three are sharing the same bathtub. There's some cheesy slapstick and ridiculous overdubs ("My balls are everywhere!") and it's so, so awesome.

Jackie Chan's HK films are the business. Project A 1 & 2, Drunken Master 1 & 2 and the Police Story trilogy (truthfully 1 is best). That's where it's at.
