Uh....yeah. 8-o

You can skip part III though. :-b

I saw about half of the first one. I really didn't like it though. I don't care for most gangster movies.

I've seen a lot of the classics: It's a Wonderful Life, Citizen Kane, 12 Angry Men, Dr. Strangelove, the Dollars Trilogy, etc. Some I just haven't bothered with.

The first Godfather is long and a little slow. It's a classic and I love it, but it is a little dated. Part II is fantastic though and probably the better of the two. You should probably just watch part II, if you like it your interest in watching part I may be sparked. Then again if you're not into gangster movies... :-?

Either way don't bother with III. :-b

III wouldn't get such a bad rap if it wasn't Godfather III. If it was the only Godfather that existed it wouldn't be a classic, but it wouldn't be considered one of the worst movies ever either. It would just be another gangster movie. I don't see how Godfather I is dated. In my opinion that's one of the few movies (and part 2 as well) that will always seem fresh.

-I watched this last night with some friends and it made me realize how long it has been since I've seen a great Pixar/animated movie. Pixar always comes through, and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It made me want to see Wall-E, Up, and Fantastic Mr.Fox very badly. Great movie, highly recommended for all ages.

Mr. Fox is a Wes Anderson movie, not Pixar, but it's very good.

I saw this for the first time a few days ago. :-) I thought it was decent, but nothing to get overly excited about. Are any of the other 5 (Rocky 2-5 and Rocky Balboa) worth seeing?

The third one is my favorite ;-D

Of the sequels (and they are all awesome...except 5), I like Rocky 4.

I must break you.

Watch 2 immediately. Then 3. Then 4. Then watch Rocky Balboa. Then be glad you've come this far without somebody taking away your man card. :-b But seriously, Rocky is a great classic, and they only get better.

The Rocky series is so classic (aside from 5... please skip it) because each movie is amazing for a different reason. Rocky and Rocky 3, for example, are 2 totally different types of movies, but each is great for different reasons. Definitely something you should see through all the way. Except 5. My god, was that one awful.

I do tend to agree with the concensus, though. Rocky 4 is the pinnacle of the the whole thing...

And number 5 is a crime against humanity :-P
It's so bad it has wiped itself from my brain, and not many movies do that.

Pan's Labyrinth - 9/10 - Really enjoyed this...it absolutely lived up to the hype. It was way darker/more adult-themed than I was expecting, which made it even better.
