A little less male nudity would have been nice, but other than that, I can't say a single negative thing about the series. I give that one 99 out of 100 and I've seen every episode at least once, and would probably buy it on DVD if/when it comes out. ;-D Quite curious to see if there will be a second season, or if it was just a one time thing.

I like series Spartacus well enough, but for a show that claims it "is a historical portrayal of ancient Roman society and the intensity of the content is to suggest an authentic representation of that period," it is rife with historical inaccuracies.

If you like Spartacus, HBO's Rome might be something that is worth checking out.

Rome was fantastic. I wish they would have made more than 2 seasons.

Kick-Ass - 8/10

I hate Nicolas Cage so I didn't want to see this movie, but it was a pleasant surprise. Pretty violent and I hear there is a lot of debate pertaining to this movie and I suppose some of it is warranted. It was a real unique movie though, definitely not a cliche comic book character type flick at all. I'd recommend it to a friend.

I like the 8/10 rating for Kick Ass. The previews do a poor job of profiling the movie, which is much more adult oriented and violent than they let on. Apparently, there were a lot of confused parents that brought their little kids only to walk out after 15 minutes...

Jerry Maguire - 7/10 - Was hoping it would be more about the agent business and less about the romance angle, but overall it was good.

Little Miss Sunshine - 6.5/10 - I liked the quirky tone of it but I guess it wasn't as funny as I had hoped. There were definitely funny parts, but not as many as I was expecting after hearing some people rave about it.

I will definitely check out Rome. Thanks for the tip (and thanks to those who agreed it was worth checking out!)! ;-D

I guess I never really looked at this movie as a straight comedy. It was just a good, albeit weird, movie.

Ratatouille 8.5/10
-I watched this last night with some friends and it made me realize how long it has been since I've seen a great Pixar/animated movie. Pixar always comes through, and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It made me want to see Wall-E, Up, and Fantastic Mr.Fox very badly. Great movie, highly recommended for all ages.
