Yep, it should have won the Oscar for best animated feature.

Absolutely. What animated feature won the Oscar? I don't recall. :-?

I really liked Fantastic Mr. Fox but I think they made the right choice picking Up.

Up was good, but movies like Fantastic Mr. Fox aren't made every year. Wes Anderson needs some Oscar recognition.

I've read that it was great, but it just seems like it would be painfully depressing to sit through.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (with English Subtitles)

5.5/10

FAILED in Comparison to the book. A lot of the changes made were gratuitous and the story was altered beyond the fluidness of the literary work. However, they did get the casting down pretty well. Especially Lisbeth. Her character was great casting.

I feel I'd have liked it more had I not already read the book. Then again, I might not have liked it at all if it weren't for htat connection. Worth a watch nonetheless but the books by Stieg Larsson are more worthwhile.

Apple juice...apple juice flood.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox - 9/10

It was funny and I enjoyed the animation style. At times it seemed aimed at more of an adult audience, but still has a very good message for the kids (and adults). Great characters. Dealt honestly and humorously with the family dynamic.

Anyone know of an uplifting movie? Something to watch when you feel like sh*t.

I just tore my left ACL for the 3rd time in the last two years (two surgeries). Need to escape for a bit...
