Man...I used to tutor on tutor.com. It sucked the very life out of me. I was glad when I could no longer do it, despite the fact that I was making an extra $400 or so a month sitting on my computer at home for a couple hours a night a few days a week.

ya i'm substitute teaching too but there are too many subs in my district and not enough jobs to go around. $12/hr to sit in front of my computer isn't too bad.

well if you're actually interested in getting some help, shoot me a PM.

I will for sure...as soon as I get through my biology homework and figure out what to ask. It will be difficult to figure out where to start for me. I'm a mess really. My instructor and I have come to the conclusion that I have some sort of long term memory problem when it comes to math. I'm sure I'm not alone, but it's like everything is brand new. This is all stuff I should have learned in 95 or even 65...and I did, but for some reason I can't retain the skills. it's really discouraging. :,-(

My wife and I are working through the Star Trek movies on Bluray. It's amazing how great these movies look in HD. The new Star Trek was the first time I've ever watched anything related to the series except for maybe a couple episodes of Next Generation. We're through the first 3:

Original Motion Picture: 1 1/2 stars (out of 5)
Wrath of Khan: 4 1/2 stars
Search For Spock: 4 stars

Anyone else really looking forward to The Hurt Locker?

Anyway, tonight I saw Youth in Revolt with some friends, I was a little disappointed. Zach Galifinakis (Sp?) (that dude from the Hangover) wasn't even funny in it. 6/10, mediocre...

I remember being intrigued by the previews but didn't hear much about it after that. Then all of a sudden it was on a bunch of top 10 lists of '09. I have it downloaded but haven't gotten to it yet. Hopefully I will soon.

American Werewolf In London (1981) - 7.5/10

Two Yanks are walking around the moors of northern England and get attacked by a werewolf, hijinks ensue.

Some points:
1. Mmmmmmm nurses :-L
2. For a film made by an American it seems very British, with bewbs and willys everywhere
3. That catchy song is not in it.
4. I'm not a fan of 4-legged werewolves, 2 legged is much more threatening
5. Rik Mayall is a prominent extra? I lolled. :-b
6. The fake p0rno was hilarious :-D

Observe and Report for those of you who have been wishing for a movie that combines the paranoid delusions of Taxi Driver with Pall Blart: Mall Cop...your prayers have been answered. the other 99% of you should skip this crap sandwich without bread (unless you really, really, REALLY like Seth Rogan). sure there are hijinks aplenty and a few chuckle worthy momements, but overall it kinda sucked
5/10

Avatar - 8.5/10 - Saw it IMAX 3D. Obviously the visuals were amazing but I thought the story was pretty good too. I guess the Iraq War/Native American references were obvious but I expected worse after some of the complaints I read.
