Couple I just watched:
Saving Private Ryan 9/10: One of my favorites
I Love You Man 7/10: I like those types of comedy but there may have been a little too man awkward scenes

Going to see sherlock and avatar soon

Law Abiding Citizen - 7.75/10 - Sort of like Saw but a lot more interesting and a lot less brainless....except the conclusion. The ending was a weird cop-out to an otherwise great movie, which for a while had you struggling to decide who was the bad guy and who wasn't. Plus the killer had some really interesting, novel techniques that we don't usually see in film.

Based on the previews this was not what I expected. I was thinking Jamie Foxx's character would be portrayed as the "bad guy" but it was very much the opposite after watching the movie

I think his questionable legal practices (what was it, "it's not about the truth, it's what you can prove in court"?) made him the bad guy up until the exploding cars scene. Until then, I think the audience's sympathies were supposed to lie with Shelton. Also, I'm trying like hell to figure out from where I recognize Gerard Butler before this movie, since I've seen exactly zero of his other films.

Up in the Air: 8/10
It's gotten a lot of publicity as one of the best films of the year, and while it was good, I'm hoping to find better ones. Very funny, though, and George Clooney with as good a performance as he's ever had.

Extract Mike Judge comedy with Jason Bateman as an owner of an extract company who falls for a con-artist Mila Kunis and wants to cheat on her but feels guilty so he tries to arrange a way to make her cheat first. hijinks ensue
7/10

500 Days of Summer that kid from 3rd Rock From The Sun and Zooey Deschanel in a "not a love story". the movie isnt told sequentially, instead it flips back and forth between different days in their relationship. hijinks ensue
8/10
