What do you have to do to get a 1 or 0 on your grading scale? Not make it through the opening credits? :-b

I went to see Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs just to see a movie that was given the full 3D Imax treatment. I have to say it was pretty awesome and can't wait for The Christmas Carol. The movie itself was your standard kids fare, but if you have the chance to go see the Imax 3D version it's well worth it. It's definitely more than a gimmick.

Surrogates - 7/10

I'm not familiar with the graphic novel, so strictly from a movie standpoint, I though it was a good story, just needed to be longer with more details.

I remember the previews being pretty good... but you're right it was pretty awful.

They might have been...the only thing I remember about them was Anna Faris going "Emotionally, YES!" in a voice that made me want to kill bunnies.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I lost you once I saw the words "Anna Farris"...

The Brothers Bloom - darkish comedy with Adrian Brody and Mark Ruffalo as Con Artist brothers who go for one final elaborate con involving Rachel Weisz...hijinks ensue...kinda has a Wes Andersonish tone to it
7/10

Sunshine Cleaning - another darkish comedy, with some chicks who start a business cleaning up after crime scenes and have a crappy family life
7/10

I read this much, and immediately hoped it was a Bikini Carwash sequel. Incidentally, that one got a 9 for the intentional and unintentional comedy, as well as its, shall we say, extrinsic value...

Grand Torino - 9.5/10

You want to sit here and tell me that wasn't one of the best movies you ever seen? Yeah, right. Get real.

Clint Eastwood is a master director/actor.

This movie almost brought me to tears on several occasions and I don't cry. I'm like the Chuck Norris of not crying.
