i try to do this every x-mas break, but it's such a grind i think i only did it 2 years in a row

W.- 7/10 Not too bad of a movie few bits seemed a little weird and left out some important details. But not too bad overall

They were definitely great but a bit overrated. Two Towers was my favorite of the three movies.

they were super overrated other than the battle scenes. the whole taking the ring to the mountain part was just boring as all hell. the battle scenes owned though.

I thought they were great adaptions to the books. Peter Jackson deserved all those Oscars. Whenever they are on TV, I still usually get drawn into them.

I only hope The Hobbit will be just as good, I think I read that part of the film will show what Gandalf did when he left the group.

Yeah some pretty awesome battle sequences but I still think Braveheart and Saving Private Ryan are the best ever!

Interstate 60: Episodes of the Road older straight to DVD film with James Mardsen who is granted a wish from Gary Oldman and travels down a highway that doesnt exist in a quest to fullfill his wish. trying to describe it in too much more detail might start giving stuff away, but i'd say it's kind of like David Lynch for the Butterfly Effect crowd. also has Christopher Lloyd and some good cameos. i'd say it's worth checking out if you're into the surreal type films
7/10

S. Darkoa "sequel" to Donnie Darko...meh...the best part of it was the skeezy friend in cutoff jean shorts. Richard Kelly is probably rolling over in his grave

I'm so glad to hear that. After what they did to my beloved Transformers, I was worried Hollywood would screw up my most favorite cartoon toys of all time.
