I just saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It did a nice job of blending humor with the darker plot of the book. It wasn't totally true to the book as there were some added/deleted scenes, but then again, none of the movies really have been. I was just glad it was more lengthy than the past few (around 2 1/2 hours), even though my Dumbledore costume started to itch after the first 45 minutes.

8.5/10

I just got back from this and I agree with 8.5/10. I haven't read the 5th, 6th, or 7th books, but I would like to now, before the last movie(s). I didn't feel that way after the 5th movie.

Also, I'm glad I drafted Emma Watson. :-L

You should read them. The 6th book was my favorite by a fair margin and the 7th was pretty epic and a satisfying conclusion to the series. Plus the books are quite a bit better than the movies in general.

People can say what they want about the Harry Potter books and movies, but the fact is anyone who doesn't read them is missing out. I could definitely read them all again (in fact I'd be surprised if I didn't at some point).

I've read them all. And I don't have a problem admitting that. They're certainly not the best books I've read, but they're very entertaining.

You are missing out if you don't read them.

I'm not judging you. ;-) ;-D

I prefer reading non-fiction but that's just me. Maybe I am missing out.
