Synecdoche, New York
A theater director (Phillip Seymor Hoffman) struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he attempts to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse as part of his new play.
...i kept falling asleep, and it made no sense at all...i fell asleep for good with about 30 minutes to go, no plans to complete it. normally i like strange and different movies, but this was too out there even for me :-S leave this for the Art House Hippies

Interesting, creepy and weird.
I was engaged and entertained the whole way through.

The Will Smith film "I Am Legend" was a remake of this. Interesting to compare what different generations did with the same story.
I like this one better FWIW.

7.9/10

We're combining decimals with fractions now? :-b

No, they were adaptations of the same novella called "I am Legend" by Richard Matheson.

There have actually been three adaptations. Omega man and Will Smith both miss the point of the story.

X-Men Wolverine 8.5/10

Best X-men movie. Good story, great characters and not too many of them as in the previous x-men movies. I completely recommend it.

You are clearly not a comic book person.

It wasn't even sorta kinda similarish in any way to the comics. They changed things that didn't need to be changed ,thinking it would make it more modern, or for a better storyline, but in the process just ruined things. Wade Wilson is a mercenary who gets cancer and has Wolverines DNA fused with his to regenerate the cells the cancer damages. He is NOT an ultimate weapon. And his mouth is never sewed shut. His biggest appeal are the jokes he cracks. He's "the merc with a mouth". Then, making Wolverine and Sabertooth brothers. That's just awful. They're supposed to represent two savage beasts gonig at it. Not to brothers saving each others lives.

Or making the Blob a super strong man with an eating disorder. Not only was the Blob never on a team with Wolverine to develop an eating disorder when the team broke up, but he never knew wolverine before he fought him as an XMen. And his mutant power isnt super strength. He can control his center of gravity to make it incredibly low so no one can move him. Hence, "No one can move the blob".

Add to that that Deadpool never had laser vision, and Cyclops was about 3 years old at the time and I hated this.

Plus they mentioned Emma Frost, the chic that turns to diamond. And she's there at the end. Yet, she isn't in the first movie. Why not? Did she get rescued then ditch them? Stay consistent to your own storyline atleast.

Worst. Movie. Ever.

So?

and I am not a comic book person? You got that right. I like women.

Staying true to a comic book scenario is not a high priority for me, nor should it be for anyone with a life. No offence.

Evan Almighty 1/10

Garbage.
It only gets the 1/10 because Easy Reader was in it.
Otherwise, formulaic snooze-fest.

P.S The actress that plays Evan's wife is hideous. Amazing how far nice hair can get you. :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P
