I think staring at that picture for two hours would be more entertaining than sitting through the film.

Yeah it is really bad and I went into wanting to love it. Love Frank Miller. Love Film Noir. Love Camp. But this is just an epic failure. :-/

Bummer man, I haven't read any reviews and was really looking forward to it coming out on DVD too. :-t

Spirit isnt THAT bad.
Its a movie you have to understand and I did, its really weird though.
ESPECIALLY Samuel L Jacksons role...

Sorry but The Spirit is not a movie you have to understand. :-b Clockwork Orange is a movie you have to understand to appreciate. The Spirit is nothing but Film Noir caricatures and bad 50's pulp dialogue.

OK. Well I will watch it because...well I have to, I'll watch anything. But at least my expectations will be fairly low. :-D
