I just don't know what to say.

That was my reaction too, I probably would give it a 5/10 though. I did not see the beauty in it...

Too weird for me.

Its Kubrick. Very shocking and violent, but a classic.

City of God - 8/10

Story of a housing project in Rio de Janeiro (former capital of Brazil) that is overrun by young hoodlums and drug life. Some very disturbing, and unfortunately likely accurate, scenes throughout the movie. The acting was much better than I anticipated.

Rachel Getting Married so i had picked this up to see Anne Hathaway's Oscar nominated performance. it was pretty good...the movie on the other hand, not so much. it was shot to look like home video, which worked because i got the feeling i was there, like i was part of the party...however, had i been i would have left because all of the people were lame (well, maybe i would have got hammered and tried to bang Anne Hathaway). i guess i'm just not into the whole free-spirit, we have an Indian themed wedding even though neither of us are Indian wedding. someone on IMDB said it best
some review on IMDB wrote: I also feel that many of the scenes, particularly the wedding party, went on way, way too long. If I had wanted to watch my friend's long, boring, amateur wedding video, I could have stayed home and saved the price of admission.

The Day the Earth Stood Still 6/10

The only good thing about this was the acting. Nobody does stoic like Keanu. He is the master of nonplussed, detatched, unemotional, dispassionate. He has the full range and they were all on display in this tour de force. It was Christopher Lambert-esque. The rest of the movie left something to be desired.

Have any of you Canadians watched a sci-fi show on your SPACE channel called StormWorld? Can't find any reviews and can't watch it online without using a proxy. Just wondering if it's adult sci-fi and what the quality of the show is.

Tommy Boy

9/10 Very funny movie, haven't seen it in years. Chris Farley is a riot in this movie. Very funny actor and was in a league of his own at that point and time.

Black Sheep
7/10 not as good as Tommy Boy but still a very solid film

I thought it was absolutely hilarious. Paul Rudd is the man.

;-D

%-6 Really? I give it a 5/10.

I watched Step Brothers as well and it was a 5, maybe 6, as well. I don't remember the last comedy that has come out the last couple years that have been top notch. :-?
