Match Point - 7/10 - It was good but dragged on a little during the second half, before the major plot turn.

The Prestige - 10/10 - I really loved this movie. I can't think of anything I didn't like about it.

The Island - 8/10 - The action scenes got to be a little much, but otherwise very enjoyable.

And it's no coincidence that Scarlett Johansson was in all 3 of those. ;-D :-D

Saw Milk last night. I'd give it a solid 8/10, one of the better bio-pics I've seen in a long time.

Courtney Taylor from the Dandy Warhols used to do one sentence movie reviews on their MySpace page and he summed it up something like this:

"Fall asleep and time it just right to wake up to one of the greatest suspense movies ever."

That's paraphrased but he's exactly right.

Or not as "pretty".
Because Batman can get any girl he wants, supermodels etc...
But wants her.
It shows his weak side, and how he has something that he, the richest man cannot have.

Its all about the story...

I think they took that a bit far. They could have had a Plain Jane actress instead of a "chew your arm off to get away if you wake up next to her" one.
Even my g/f was saying "wow she's a dog" at times through the movie :-b

Slumdog Millionaire - 8/10 - It was an excellent feel good story. Danny Boyle becoming very polished. I remember when I watched one of his first films, Shallow Grave, from the 90s and thought that he is going to be awesome.

i enjoyed match point. i think scarlett helps us through the boring parts and i probably wouldnt have enjoyed the movie much if she wasnt in it, but she just sort of has this presence when shes on screen that makes the scenes intense.

I Love You, Man 8/10 I enjoyed it, thought it was very funny. Not as good as "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," but still liked it a lot.

Watched Heat for the first time last night.

I'd give a 8.5/10, it was extremely long, but very entertaining/intense nonetheless ;-D

Great cast/acting all around
