I didn't know that. Are you sure? If so can you point me to the book, can't find it.

Duh I'm retarded, I was thinking of Starship Troopers.....move along nothing to see. :-B

Aww. I've read Starship Troopers. But I was excited about a Super Troopers book. :-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

V for Vendetta - 8/10

Basically, it was entertaining. I really enjoyed the matter-of-fact and aloof nature of the title character, as well as his quirky literal personality. Portman delivered a solid performance and looked surprisingly hot after she shaved her head. :-b

The plot, while it clearly wanted to make the viewer think, had elements which I found too absurd to effectively suspend my disbelief. I would have enjoyed it more, and it probably would have made me think more about the subject matter, if the "bad guys" weren't so purely evil. They seemed more like caricatures than characters...however, it's based on a graphic novel/comic, so perhaps that was to be somewhat expected.

That being said, there were really sweet visuals, great dialogue, and it kept my attention throughout. ;-D

If you want to watch a movie with the best dialogue ever then watch Glengarry Glen Ross
You have no frame of reference, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie...

I don't know if I'll ever have that much spare time...

This is absolutely true. At the beginning I was thinking, "wow, this is a boring, slow movie, but it has some stunning visuals." Then by the mid-point I was thinking "someone stab me in the eye with a fork."

Sounds like a blast. :-b
