Sure. That sits in between How High and Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood on my DVD shelf. ;-7

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I agree, it's no Johnny Mnemonic but it's sure as hell better than Juice :-b

You're an 80s music fan mazinz have you ever listened to the lyrics from any Smiths song? At a rencent karaoke night I chose Bigmouth Strikes Again, maybe I was inspired by Kensat on the football side, but I was horrified to read the lyrics.

Sweetness, sweetness I was only joking
When I said I'd like to smash every tooth
In your head

Oh ... sweetness, sweetness, I was only joking
When I said by rights you should be
Bludgeoned in your bed

crazy. Girlfriend in a Coma and This Charming Man are no better. Funny that those lyrics never registered with me.

Now Johnny Mnemonic is in my DVD collection. I think you think I am being facetious about my affinity for Keanu Reeves but it is real. Plus, for William Gibson fans it's really all we've got.

P.S. Sometime's I read your posts and think there are more layers than a Dan Brown novel. Then I think, nah it's just Mookie. :-D

I actually don't know how someone can not be a Keanu fan. I will agree that Keanu is not the world's best actor (see Much Ado) but he has the ability to put himself in great movies. There are very few Keanu movies that I do not like. He is asked to be cool and he does it very well. Colin Farrell is another favourite of mine. Colin can act though.

As for Gibson, I was a big fan. Neuromancer is still high on my list of best Canadian cyberpunk books :-B (seriously, great book, I've read it three times) but I'm not holding out hope for the film being any good. It's been in production for like forever.

Never happened. That movie is an urban myth, like eating poprocks and coke killing you or the time that mweir admitted that he was wrong. People talk about it but it just never happened.

to answer someones( sorry im too lazy to see who said it) thought, i was actually in the mood to see a good Mickey Rourke movie since im only 18 and The Wrestler is all ive seen him in...so i looked up "Bullet" With he and Tupac in it, but the website i use didnt have it. But i saw "Juice" listed because Tupac was in it, thus lead to me watching... Thought it was good so i went to Boyz N The Hood since it is widely regarded as the best in that genre.

Have you not seen Sin City? Domino? Once Upon a Time in Mexico? Man on Fire? Spun? :-?

Do see Rumble Fish, Barfly, and Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. ;-)
