Gerry sounds terrible, but is it worse than Ed (which I recently watched)?:

This was actually so bad that it was hilarious (especially the baseball scenes).

Clerks - 9/10. Oldie but a goodie, first time I've watched it in nigh on 4 years.

Se7en - 8.5/10. Kevin Spacey is creepy as hell, and Robot Chicken gave away the ending when they aired their Smurfs Se7en parody which ruined it a little.

Se7en is possibly my absolute favorite movie...Most thrilling final 10 minutes of a movie I`ve ever seen. :-o

Definitely a great movie. One of my top 10 for sure (even though I don't own it :,-( )

I've never seen Ed, so I can't say for sure which is worse, but even if Gerry is technically better, it's still worse. It's an actual movie, made (ostensibly) for adults, not 'the guy from Friends plays baseball with a monkey,' which most people would know better than watching with any sort of expectations. Gerry tricks you, because you're thinking, "Matt Damon and the Affleck that's actually a decent actor in a movie with good cinematography and (supposedly) good dialogue by the same guy who did Good Will Hunting? This must be pretty good." Then you get hit in the face with a steaming turd.

I can imagine the Matchup Meltdown ice cube can take on an extra layer of symbolism then.

I'm intrigued to watch Gerry, but that will have to wait for the weekend.

Wrestler 8/10. Great. Really lived up to the hype. ;-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
