You're right holmes, my bad.
I just watched Smart People
the other night with Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker, Thomas Haden Church, and Ellen Page. I thought it was pretty good, kinda dry but funny. Some awkward comedic situations. Dennis Quaid is a college professor who seems a pretty low and kind of a burned out wreck of a man who's recently lost his wife, he's kind of a snob who likes to flex his brain muscles and seems a little socially inept. Ellen Page plays his too smart for her own good daughter who's in her senior year in high school. She kinda takes on the mother role in the house. His deadbeat adopted brother brother played by Thomas Haden Church drops in, and stays in, and hilarity ensues...well some hilarity. Sarah Jessica Parker plays Quaids love interest, a former student who is both put off and intrigued by her old college professor. The plot is fairly bland and basic. It had the same feel as Sideways, not nearly as good but overall I enjoyed it.
