Are you freaking serious?

The first 3 Dirty Harry movies (especially the first one which is my all-time number one) are probably my favourite movies ever. Also The Good The Bad And The Ugly is superb.

If you haven't seen these 4 then I suggest you get your A into gear and go get them.

im sure they are. ive never really gotten into "older" movies. everytime i try, they just seem so dated to me. i know its a stupid view to have, but i just cant get into them.

Ha, what a coincidence, I was just watching this movie earlier today. Great soundtrack, indeed.

That's too bad, you're missing out. There are thousands and thousands of "older" films out there that are awesome. :-?

The Good The Bad And The Ugly is a great film, other awesome older Eastwood films: The Outlaw Josey Wales, Hang 'Em High, High Plains Drifter, and Pale Rider. ;-D

What exactly do you consider an "older movie"? Some of the best movies ever made were made before 1970

Yup

a few that are must see films...

Psycho (1960)
The Hustler (1961)
Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)
Doctor Zhivago (1965)
Bonnie And Clyde (1967)
The Graduate (1967)
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Midnight Cowboy (1969)

Some people even consider films from the 1970's to be "older"....

Patton (1970)
A Clockwork Orange (1971)
The Godfather (1972)
The Godfather Part II (1974)
Chinatown (1974)
Star Wars (1977)
Apocalypse Now (1979)
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
Rocky (1976)
Taxi Driver (1976)
The Deer Hunter (1978)
Manhattan (1979)
Alien (1979)

All of these listed are must see films to give yourself a solid foundation to base you movie opinions on....and that's not even listing pre 1970 films.

I'm not really a fan of "older" movies either. There are some that I like but there are plenty that I just won't sit through.
