My favorite all time movie right there...I judge how well i like a movie partly based on how i felt when watching it for the first time, and the last 20 minutes of se7en has you on the edge of your seat to say the very least. Great movie

and a couple i watched in the past few days....

Donnie Darko 9/10

Hot Fuzz 8/10

Darko is self explanatory if you`ve seen it...just a classic and mind numbing film.
Hot Fuzz i thought was a highly entertaining comedy and was different than the usual stuff we get now days.

Zack and Miri make a porno: 7.5/10 Probably would be higher, but have trouble believing that Elizabeth Banks would be attracted to Seth Rogan.
Swing Vote: 6.5/10 Would have been higher, but the end annoyed me.
Role Models: 7.5/10 Pretty funny, enjoyed it.

Step Brothers- 8/10: I haven't seen a good comedy in a long time and I had very low expectations for this because of the mediocre reviews. But, it turned out to be hilarious. Maybe I'm just not sick of Will Ferrell like everyone else seems to be (I kind of liked Semi-Pro as well).

Definitely looking forward to it but I have this bad feeling that they've taking this classic and twisted it into Global Warming propaganda. I know the original was propaganda in its own right but I'm just tired of that theme.

Propaganda? As yes, you prefer your entertainment with smoking, guns, blood diamonds and SUVs don't you Amazinz? Keanu and I want a little education and social awareness with our movies. This is entertainment in Obama's America, get used to it! :-]

Yeah propaganda... I realize this word has developed a negative connotation in "Obama's America" (and Canada too, apparently) }:-) but I meant it in the traditional sense of the word. And the original movie was very socially aware and the message is still poignant today. It definitely needed some updating but not a completely different message.
