Shame. Trailer looked pretty good.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Yeah, my wife wanted to see it, but I thought it might be ok. A 4 might have been too harsh but it was really boring and it was way too long. The movie is pretty much all of the awkward moments from Juno without the quirkiness on top of a hipster soundtrack. Some people are going to like this movie, it just wasn't for us.

Iron Man 8/10

Loved it, but felt almost like there was something missing dunno and the ending wasn't very good or clear personally.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall 8/10

Sarah's new boyfriend was funny, but the rest of the cast was somewhat boring. Funny and entertaining movie though.

That's my feeling for both of those movies. I guess my 8 is a lot different than your 8!

There Will Be Blood 7/10.

If my expectations of this movie weren't so high, I'd probably give it a higher mark.
I was expecting Plainview to be a lot more monstrous, until 1926 he isn't really that bad.
And was his son deaf or retarded? I wish the actor playing him would pick one, because that was a confusing performance. :-S

Sex And The City 4/10

1st half - moderately interesting
2nd half - formulaic crap. :-t

That's how deaf people talk b/c they have no way of knowing what they sound like. They best they can do is feel/hear vibrations in their head, but it's nothing real clear.

V for Vendetta - 9/10

The only thing keeping it from a 10 is that it felt really rushed, plot-wise. They skipped weeks or months at a time, and everything blew by as quickly as it can in a two-hour movie. If the Wachowski brothers made it into a two-parter of about 3 to 3 1/2 hours total I wouldn't have minded. Also, it took me long enough to see this movie.
