There were some seriously disturbing scenes in it like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEdZh8a4ZvE

They sure don't make kids movies like they used to anymore.

Loved that movie...didnt they make a sequel The Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars?

I think so, but I probably avoided it to watch movies like Aladdin and Lion King.

Toy Story 3 comes out in 2 years. Hopefully it will be just as good as the first two.

I forgot about The Iron Giant, that was a great movie.

Hmmm...makes me kind of wish I had seen The Brave Little Toaster when I was little. It's only now I've heard of it. From what I see and hear, that should be considered a blessing as I'm sure the clown scene would've scared the bejeezus out of me at that age. I missed out on a lot of kids' movies it seems.

Is anybody with me that the 50's-70's Disney animation is better than what they are doing today? It might be more advanced but I think the 50's/60's style works better with children's stories. I hope the next Disney Classic they put out isn't CGI. It looks like it's going to be Rapunzel- it's good that their going back to telling classic stories at least.

My all-time favorites are Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Robin Hood and probably The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad.

Official canon Disney movies:

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) • Pinocchio (1940) • Fantasia (1940) • Dumbo (1941) • Bambi (1942) • Saludos Amigos (1942) • The Three Caballeros (1944) • Make Mine Music (1946) • Fun and Fancy Free (1947) • Melody Time (1948) • The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) • Cinderella (1950) • Alice in Wonderland (1951) • Peter Pan (1952) • Lady and the Tramp (1955) • Sleeping Beauty (1959) • 101 Dalmatians (1961) • The Sword in the Stone (1963) • The Jungle Book (1967) • The Aristocats (1970) • Robin Hood (1973) • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977) • The Rescuers (1977) • The Fox and the Hound (1981) • The Black Cauldron (1985) • The Great Mouse Detective (1986) • Oliver & Company (1988) • The Little Mermaid (1989) • The Rescuers Down Under (1990) • Beauty and the Beast (1991)Aladdin (1992)The Lion King (1994) • Pocahontas (1995) • The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) • Hercules (1997) • Mulan (1998) • Tarzan (1999) • Fantasia 2000 (1999) • The Emperor's New Groove (2000) • Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) • Lilo & Stitch (2002) • Treasure Planet (2002) • Brother Bear (2003) • Home on the Range (2004) • Chicken Little (2005) • Meet the Robinsons (2007) • Bolt (2008) • The Princess and the Frog (2009) • Rapunzel (2010) • King of the Elves (2012)

Atlantis: The Lost Empire was the most recent Disney movie on that list that I've watched, and it sucked. I'd bet the '50s-70s are far better than the current ones being made.

I've bolded my favourites, though keep in mind that I haven't seen many of these movies in 14-15 years.

Mweir, the great Mouse Detective is probably one of the best Disney movies ever.
All of the titles you bolded I agree with.
But 101 Dalmatians was my favorite when I was growing up, that and Jungle Book.

The Fox and the Hound was the first movie I ever saw. ;-D
Of the recent ones I've seen Lilo and Stitch, Mulan, and Fantasia is good but I didn't care for many after the Lion King.

My favorite was The Three Caballeros for the sake of weird, but I suppose I liked it because of Donald Duck and the delightful song. Then I'm reminded of the shame that Epcot no longer has the cheesy River of Time ride and replaced it with The Three Caballeros theme. :-t

I also liked Jungle Book, The Great Mouse Detective, The Fox and the Hound, Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Crane, and The Lion King.
