I gave it a 6. I thought the premise was good and the effects were nice. Love post-apocalyptic movies.

They're some of my favorite movies too but there was nothing about this film I liked. The premise is what intrigued me but it failed to deliver. The dialog was awful, and the acting was even worse. There were some interesting effects I'll give you that but they were so far and few in between I was left annoyed and disappointed.

Yeah some scenes were way over the top and I can see why some people would hate it. To tell you the truth, my wife got up and left so I wound up watching it alone. :-D

B quality movie for sure but I did enjoy it for what it was.

Not a review, but I just remembered this crazy movie from my childhood: The Brave Little Toaster. Phil Hartman and Jon Lovitz had voice roles in it. Does anybody else remember this?

There were some seriously disturbing scenes in it like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEdZh8a4ZvE

They sure don't make kids movies like they used to anymore.

I think that was the scene that made me hate clowns.

Well I didn't say it went downhill, Pixar and Dreamworks still make some great movies. It's just the content of them kind of changed at the beginning of the 90s.

I think I must have blocked out the entire movie from my memory because I was so scared of it (and I remember specifically having to shield my eyes during the clown scene, and when the air conditioner kills itself). I've always remembered other great animated movies from from that era like The Land Before Time, An American Tail, and The Great Mouse Detective (one of my favourites), but yesterday was probably the first time I'd thought about that Toaster movie in 15 years.

Yes, my daughter loves those movies. I'd rather pull my own fingernails off rather than watch them again.
