How is the "(fill in the blank) Movie" franchise even alive? I have never met anyone who even remotely enjoyed any of them. Who watches that crap?

I've always wondered who sees those movies in theatres, besides 13 year-olds?

Rocky Balboa- 8/10 Being that im from philadelphia and had never seen this film, im glad i finally did today...Very happy with this film as it closes out the franchise in a great way. Some people liked it, and some people didnt, but i thought it was an appropriate sendoff.

Stranger Than Fiction- 7.5/10 Will Ferrell did a great job in this very different yet successful comedy-drama ;-D

I couldn't get on board with the premise here. She is writing and narrating his life - wouldn't she know he was searching for her? And no one would make the decision Ferrell's character did - no book is worth that. It's just a book. He's willing to die just because the book is so good?

And from what I saw and heard - her book would be terrible :-D

And there was some cringeworthy scenes such as
"I'm not helping you at all"
"Little Did he know"
"OH! Little Did He Know?! I'll help you"

I really got into this movie. It had a Rocky 1 feel to the story, but still delivered on the big brawl that made 3 and 4 so entertaining. I also liked how they made the outcome of the fight realistic (well, as realistic as Rocky fights can get... !+) ). There's no way Rocky stays in that fight without Mason breaking his hand.

The only thing missing was some Kenny Loggins or Robert Tepper on the soundtrack. B-)
