I loved it and think is great, but godfather 1 and 2 are masterpieces, but they are two COMPLETELY different types of movies so its really hard to compare them at all.

Here's a controversial comment....I finally rented the Godfather as I haven't watched the whole thing through before. Well, lets just say I turned it off half way through. Keep in mind I'm not a fan of older movies and this was no different. !+)

I haven't seen any of the Godfather movies either. :-b

Taking a break from Dark Knight to watch some old(er) movie

Gone Baby Gone 9/10

The movie was really nicely done with good casting, good directing and good editing. Moves along at a good pace and really is a good story. The plot has a few more holes than desired but that's nitpicking. I'll say I disagree with the choice at the end and what's probably why this isn't a 9.5 or 10 flick.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Depends on the criteria you're judging it against. For this genre, it is easily one of the best movies I've ever seen.

I meant overall film as they were talking about it being #1 on the IMDB top 250

You have to be kidding me? :-D

First one was great. Thought the sequel was trash.

I'm with Amazinz, I'd give the 2nd one around a 5/10, just mostly racist jokes, not much content, wayy too much really weird stuff, liked the first one much more.

Guys. Neil Patrick Harris getting his "whore on", a bottomless party, Rob Cordry taunting various races - this was a trainwreck that kept me laughing the entire movie. It was a really good bad movie like Starship Troopers.

Just saw Murder in the First for the first time and I have to say, it was extremely well done, very very emotional, very interesting. Kevin Bacon was excellent, it was by far the best role I have ever seen him in, and I think he deserved at least a nomination for best actor for his year (Tom Hanks won for Forrest Gump in '95). I checked some other reviews and stuff to see if I was alone, but I was not. Christian Slater was very good, as was Gary Oldman, but Bacon was really great. Very moving story (Based on a true story), not easy to watch, but definitely worth seeing.

8/10

Face Off with Nicklaus Cage and John Travolta.

8/10 very good film that is a bit unrealistic (in regards to the plot) but if you dont let that bother you at all while watching you will be very entertained throughout the 2 hrs. ;-D
