Naughty Nurses 5: 4/10

Very enthusastic actors and actresses, but they were all a bit overacting. Horrible directing, but the movie did have a nice plot twist and some nice special effects. B-)

Can't believe it was up for so many awards. Tilda Swinton wasn't even in the movie that much and she won an Oscar for her role.

This movie disappointed me, I'm not really sure why it was nominated.

SPOILER ALERT

I'll say this for Michael Clayton, just seeing Tilda Swinton's character get royally screwed by Clooney's at the end was worth the price of admission. I hated that bitch of a character she played and seeing her get taken down was brilliantly put together.

Ewwww I thought Michael Clayton was good, but don't compare it to "The Insider", that movie was sensationally good, I love the movie :D

Anyways last movie I saw was "Before the Devil Know You Are Dead"

I give it a 7/10, it was good, certainly had some nice shots of Marisa Tomei :P, but the movie was sort of bland to me, nothing stood out. Other than the order in which the movie is presented, everything is ordinary, the characters aren't that interesting, so you really don't feel sympathy for their plight, and the acting was a mixed bag for me, at times I thought scenes were done well, but others seemed contrived.

Also saw Juno awhile back, I'd give that like an 8.5/10, I really liked it, the colors in the movie, the message, acting, was all very good, the dialogue as has been pointed out on several occasions was fake, but I didn't mind too much.

hybrid wrote:Just saw Into The Wild - probably give it an 8.5 or maybe 9 out of 10. Simply a great film, the story of how they told it and just seeing all the places he went made it amazing. It's up there with The Diving Bell and The Butterfly for me when I think about the best films of 2008.

That film was phenomenal, one of my all-time favorites, everything was so well done, the relationships were sincere, the attitude and the mood was dead on, the main character was incredibly interesting, a bittersweet movie.

Marie Antoinette 7/10.

I thought it was well done. I'm not sure how historically acurate it was and the ending could have been more violent but over all, I enjoyed the style in which it was presented. Also, Dunst is hot.

Edit: After researching on-line, it appears that the movie was about as close to accurate as one gets in Hollywood films these days. I had a feeling this was the case, but now that I know it is... 7.5/10 (.5 extra for accuracy)

You only gave it a 4/10?
I've seen one of that series (can't remember which) and thought it wasn't too bad :-D

Just got back from The Dark Knight

10/10

Was really really really good. The action and story were both amazing. Ledger pulled off the Joker well and delivered many suspenseful creepy moments and a lot of great laughs. Aaron Eckhart was also great in his role as Dent.

So what are you still doing reading this, GO SEE IT! :-b
