Michael Clayton - 6/10 - It was sort of hard to follow and very slow at times. The story was pretty good and very believable. Reminded me of "The Insider" but not nearly as good. Can't believe it was up for so many awards. Tilda Swinton wasn't even in the movie that much and she won an Oscar for her role.

Yeah Michael Clayton was so over-hyped. Funny how almost everyone agrees with that unlike a movie like Crash where the over-hyped discussion was polarizing. Makes you wonder how Michael Clayton got hyped in the first place. :-S

Maybe it was just a bad year for movies in general? I'm still blown away that Swinton won an award for her role. Clooney also tends to overact. I do not think that he is as good as people say he is and he was nominated for best actor.

I actually stopped watching Michael Clayton 1/3 through. Thought it was overly complicated and just plain bad.

Yoda wrote:If you enjoyed the film then I highly recommend the book. I was fascinated by the film also so I picked up the book right away to learn more about what really happened. The book covers his life much more in depth and you will understand why he turned out the way he did. The movie more or less glorified his life whereas the book presented a more balanced perspective.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I was considering getting the book as well, sounds like I should after what you had to say about it.

Such an optimist! Actually based on all I've read and seen, I may just agree with you.

Startup.com: 8.5/10.

This was a great documentary. two 28 year old friends leave their jobs to pursue start a web based company right as the dot-com bubble is about to burst. This the struggle of two inexperienced young men with high dreams try to make their fortune, and at the same time maintain their friendship.

lol... the last time I was this pumped up for a movie was when Episode 1 came out. That didn't turn out so well. :,-(

If there is a Jar Jar Binks in The Dark Knight I'm going to quit movies.
