There Will Be Blood 7.5/10. Yes Daniel Day Lewis was great, and I can see where all the praise and acclaim came from, but it was just a bit slow for me. I realize it was a very good movie, but for some reason I just didn't love it. I liked No Country for Old Men much more.

Wanted 9/10

I loved it, didn't drag out at all, lots of great action scenes, not the most realistic movie ever, but we all knew that going in. I don't want to spoil anything but there were some nice touches towards the end. Jolie looks great and the plot was interesting. ;-D

Hancock 7/10
I actually thought the story was kinda cool, but I felt that Will Smith should of been more of a badass.

There will be blood - 8/10 - I had high expectations but it certainly lived up to the hype for me. DDL is a great actor and I can't believe he isn't asked to do a lot more movies. I forgot that he was the main villain in Gangs of NY. In any case, he was so crazy and unpredictable that in one scene I felt bad for him and in another I hated him.

* SPOILER *

After he beats Eli to death, is it assumed that he is going to jail? What happens next?

People don't choose DDL for movies, he chooses them.

You could infer two different things from the end. I think the most liley outcome is jail. As he says himself, potentially with a double meaning, "I'm finished!"

You could also have the view that someone with that much money doesn't go to jail. Maybe a nuthouse or lengthy house arrest or something.

Exactly, when I watched the movie I figured it was the latter.

Wanted - 8/10 - Good action flick. Predictable to a large degree, but it doesn't try to be anything it's not. The car scenes are over the top but still very cool, you get to see Angelina's bare rump, and overall it's filled with general badassness. High adrenaline beginning to end.

I took my 4-year-old neighbor to see Kung Fu Panda on Sunday. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the movie and found it quite enjoyable. I don't see many kids movies, but if many of them are like this I guess I'll have to check them out.

I'd focus on the Pixar movies from the last 10 years, they have been great.
