You don't mess with the Zohan 1/10

Positives: it has its moments of funnies, Emmanuelle Chriqui is hot

Negatives: They are few and far in between, weak plot, cheesy message, dumbing down of the Palestine/Israel issue as well as annoying accent should offend anybody that knows anything about the region. Just plain not that funny.

Still doesn't explain who these "regular voters" are. I wonder how you qualify to become one. :-b

Get Smart 6/10

Not bad, nothing special. Had some funny moments, I thought Steve Carrell was pretty good. If you're very bored sometime it is worth seeing, but it is also very understandable to wait for it on TV.

Yeah, this was mentioned a few pages back. I suspect it will drop to 8.5 or 8.6 eventually, but maybe not...a lot of people really like this movie, myself included.

In IMDB's top 250 movies list only regular voters votes count, and it doesn't count most 0's and a lot of 10's I believe. Right now it's number 6 and rated 8.9 by regulars and 9.2 overall.

if its not counting 10's, how the heck do you get a 9.X ?

older movie that I just saw on DVD

300

Rating: 9

Loved this movie. After watching it I wanted to become a Spartan, then I read about their real culture and decided that America was the place for me.

Dark Knight, has something Batman Begins doesn't.

A dead guy as the lead antagonist who is suposebly so deep into this role you forget who he is...

Better than a scarecrow, with a mask IMO.

It might get a supporting actor nomination for that reason, but probably not a Best Picture.

Ra's al Ghul was the main villian in the last one, and he was a pretty damn good one.
