2001: A Space Odyssey - I'll grade it when I understand it.

Got tired of long drawn-out shots where nothing happened. FIVE minutes of random flashing colors?

When stuff was actually going on the screen it was tough to understand what was going on.

National Treasure 2: books of secrets
5.5/10

Too much "what if" stuff happens, I love the story and such but a 180 pound man jumping on a 600 year old rope and it doesn't break? Just crazy stuff like that killed this movie

Death Sentence - 8/10

Solid flick! Not great, but it did its job for me.

Rush Hour 3 5/10
Mr. Woodcock 5.5/10

I had little choice since I was on a plane but both were better than I expected. They sucked, but they were better than expected.

I don't ever expect to see a grade from you then. I think critics are still arguing over what in the heck the end of that movie is supposed to represent.

Considering the cast of Mr. Woodcock, I was expecting good things. Terribly disappointed.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

there's an explanation of it.

American Beauty-9/10
Catch Me If You Can- 7/10
The Player-7/10
Paprika-7.5/10 So I've never seen an anime movie before and I thought I would hate it, but this was pretty crazy and I didn't hate it. There is some pretty surreal and visual stuff here.
Gosford Park-8/10
Being John Malkovich-7/10

I thought it was stupid.

I though this was going to be a great movie, but when I finally got around to seeing it I was so underwhelmed that I can't remember anything about it except Ryan Phillippe wore a bowler hat.

Strange Wilderness: 1/10

This is one of the worst movies i have ever seen in my entire life. The acting looked like something you might see in a junior high class play. The directing was awful. There was no plot (or what plot it had was stupid). There were a few random bits which added nothing (example: "we are going in circles." "that map is a mirror image, hold it upside down." "Okay."). worse the jokes weren't even funny. There were a couple of small laughs early on, but they got real tiring real quick. Overall the movie was just stupid and not funny. It was a huge waste of time and money. I really don't know why i saw this (my girl friend's friend's idea), i should have seen There Will Be Blood a second time.
