That was one messed up film. I thought it was really well made. I would give it 8/10 at least.

That's one of a handful of movies that I would actually give a 10/10 (A+)... and I've never watched it stoned.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 9/10

Carrey is great. Kind of a trippy movie. Loved it!

It is a great movie but much like American History X, it is so distrubing I didn't want to ever watch it a second time.

American History X is another 10/10 for me.

Both of which I won't allow myself to watch more than once a year because I'm afraid if I watch them too much they'll lose the emotional impact they have on me. I do that with all my favorite dramas.

The Kingdom - 6/10. The plot was so cliche.

The Number 23 - 5/10 - not sure what happened to Jim Carey but he just isn't convincing for me anymore. The plot was weak and over-dramatic at times as well. Wait for cable.

Disturbia - 6.5/10 - a little over the top but still scary fun.

Fracture - 8/10

This was your typical investigator vs. ubersmart criminal movie where you're waiting for the criminal to mess up. So, it was cliche from that perspective. However, the acting (Hopkins/Gosling) was very good, and the plot was rather intriguing. At first, the odds seem hopelessly stacked against the criminal, and by the end, everything seems hopelessly stacked against the poor DA that he pulled into his trap. Even though you know certain things are going to happen, how they happen gave the movie its intrigue.

Overall, it was very entertaining, even if it wasn't out-of-this-world original.
