300

Downloaded it in HD on my 360, good movie, I felt it could of been great if the story telling felt more epic, which is sad to say considering this is supposed to be an epic type movie. Anyways visuals were certainly great, action was well done if you like stylized gore.

Overall I give it a 7.5 maybe an 8, really wished the built up the seriousness and emotions of the fighting, could of been spectacular. I definitely liked Sin City better.

Zodiac

I really liked this movie, mainly probably because I was completely unfamiliar with the Zodiac killer to begin with, thus everything was new to me. Very good acting esp. MarK Ruffalo the lead cop. Runs 2hrs 40 mins, but when the movie was over I couldn't believe it was that long, I was thoroughly interested in the story. 8.5/10

A.I.:Artificial Intelligence-9/10
I know some people don't like this movie, but I really liked it. The visuals were just awesome and I really liked the story as well.

Gangs of New York-8/10
Good story, cool fight scenes, great acting.

A Clockwork Orange-8/10
An old movie I've never seen before. It has aged a bit, but the story is very fascinating and thought provoking

Dark City-8.5/10
Great Sci-Fi movie ;-D

Super Bad - (I know I will get yelled at but...) 6.5

Honestly, I thought it was funny but again, it was way too over the top for me. My expectations were probably too high. I still think 40 yr old virgin is much better/funnier than Knocked Up and Super Bad.

I saw 3:10 to Yuma this weekend and really, really liked it. I think it could win Best Picture. Both the acting and story were awesome.

I'd give it an A- (which for me is awesome)

That's good to hear. I am really excited for some of the western influenced movies coming out this fall. This movie, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and There Will Be Blood all look awesome. ;-D

Italian Job - 6.5/10 It was just an ok movie to sit and watch if you have nothing better to do. Not great but not horrible.

The Departed:

All the actors were outstanding in this movie.
Jack Nicholson was awesome as the devil , Mark Wahlberg was awesome as the angry cop , Leo was tremendous as the rat , and Matt Damon was ( I can never see him in a film without thinking about Team America World Police MATT DAMON!) good as the other rat.
Top performances.

However.....

The ending feels like the writer saying "how quickly can we get rid of all these characters and end the movie."
Although the ending was pleasantly shocking in some ways , I felt quite ripped off by it. It might grow on me later , but I'd have to watch it again.

So I give it a 7.7/10. If the ending matched the rest of the movie it would be 9.5. ;-D
