Look how much a difference pierre is... beltran is the best 5-tool fantasy player in the game today, IMO. Soriano and (if he starts stealing again) Vlad are close seconds.

Pierre is just like Gagne. What would Gagne be worth without the saves? Donnelly anyone?
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Hmm... does his value change from H2H to Roto? I would never have thought of drafting Pierre that early, but I'm thinking four or five now...

I'd say Pierre is just as valuable in both types of leagues.

Yes, Pierre is jsut as valuable in both leagues. It's not like he goes on big spurts of SB's or runs, and his BA is consistent. HR hitters can be better in H2H because any one of them can win you a week. Imagine somebody hits 7 HR's in a week. That's a lot of R, RBI, and HR's. Pierre spreads his value throughout the whole season, so he might even be better in roto, especially since he is a good hitter for average. IE: a guy with a .305 average won't help you too much in H2H for the AVG cat, but over the span of a whole roto season, he might even help more than a .325 hitter with far less AB's due to walks or missed games (ahem, Barry Bonds).
