Postby Amazinz » Wed Dec 06, 2006 10:02 am

The Horse Whisperer returns according to the Daily News:

Pitching coach Rick Peterson, who never doubted he'd return to the Mets, has a new multi-year contract with the club, according to a team insider.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

We really need a way to mark the difference between resigned=quit and resigned=signed again.

Now if Omar doesn't sign or trade for some top notch pitching, he better fire himself. }:-)
