I don't see how this can be a bad thing. I'll sign Brazelton to minor deals any day before signing scrubs like Elarton to MLB deal.

Can't agree more. I hate to use the over used "he needs a change of scenary", but maybe he'll fit in here and find a useful sport on our roster.
Some people take smoke breaks. I choose to take fantasy baseball breaks!

Ehh, no problem here. It is what it is ....a minor league deal... I'd be suprised if he saw much time away from the minors.

It's a good low risk signing. He seemed to be decent in SD last year except for a few bad outings.
