Dropped Minor League Players, any gems

It's a deep 12 team league, we all are fairly knowledgable of the minor league circuit, with me probably being in the bottom half in terms of knowledge, especially when it comes to mid pack prospects.

I have the 4th pick?

Who do you think I should look to take?

These players are scraps. Unless you have 25-man minor league rosters, there have to be better guys available to you.

It would help to know more about your league.

I would put Frandsen #1 right now. I'm hearing he has a reasonable chance of being a starter. Of course, that may change. At any rate, he's at least a mid-range prospect. None of these guys are top prospects.

These would be my top 6:
1 - K Frandsen
2 - G. Hernandez (#13 on BA's FSL Top 20)
3 - B. Snyder (potential, but needs to reduce K's)
4 - J. Huber
5 - EME
6 - JB Cox

Actually I am also a member in this league. We are holding a form of rule 5 draft where we can protect 40 players from our MLB and minor rosters.

As an example i released Huber, Matt Bush, Head and Meyer.

I protected the following minors (* must be added to MLB roster in 2007): Butler, Billingsley*, Bianchi,Callaspo, Duncan, Escobar, Gorzelanny*, Herrera, Hurley, Adam Jones, Loney, R. Martin*, Milledge, Adam Miller, Nippert*, Patton, Pennington, Span, Swarzack, Sweeney, Tabata, Tulowitzki, Wainwright*, Weaver*, Delwyn Young. So the only player I released that I had 2nd thoughts on was Huber and I felt his 2007 role in KC was likely to be limited.

and if he's there I'll take him, the others can rot on another roster ;-D
