protecting my card collection

i have a few questions about protecting my hockey/baseball cards.

1) when putting cards in a binder, should they be put in individual sleeves first, and then into the 9 card sheets?

2) autograph cards: do they need any extra care to ensure the ink does not rub off or smear when in a sleeve or case?

3) game used jersey cards: they dont fit into the sleeves that i have. are there some special ones meant for them?

1 no need to put cards in a penny sleeve before putting them in a binder.
2 Your autograph cards will be fine in a penny sleeve before you put them in a hard cover protector.
3 Your game used material cards will require a thicker snap case to ensure that they are not damaged . Pro Mold makes the best for this.

I would not put expensive cards in binder sleeves...but those that are not the super valuable ones it would be finewithout a soft sleeve

The auto cards are fine with a soft sleeve and a pvc protected top loader

There are several typesof ways to protect the thick card...one is a semi regid...but only for the less expensive ones...use soft sleeve first...
then there are several thick top loaders different sizes...you dont want one too big as it will swim aroundand ding...but use soft sleeve also
