Loose Change?

IE, for the 9/11 conspiracy to hold any water, it would have to be even more unbelievable that the government DIDN'T plan the attacks, which surely isn't the case. It's people like the creators of loose change that dont have any sense at all.

If the post you're referring to I think that the sarcasm is clear, and appreciated. I think that's even a reasonable way to look at it, but then I think that conspiracy theorists in general are far from reasonable anyway.

Funny, because I find people who think we didn't land on the moon to be idiots. ;-D
About 9/11. I definitely think that the government had chances to stop it, but didn't take it seriously or whatever and dropped the ball. I certainly don't think they planned the attacks though.

If you don't think we landed on the moon... then intelligent discussion is probably out for you ;-D

In 40 years, no one has yet to produce even probable evidence to suggest the moon landing was fake. Yet millions of Americans believe it was fake, if not because of a general misunderstanding or lack of self-actualization, then because of an unhealthy obsession with "The X-Files."

im pretty that means that he thinks people who believe that we DIDNT land on the moon fake are idiots, hence him believing in us landing on the moon :-?

Ok, well re read his post then.

Although if he was being sarcastic then it doesn't really matter.

9-11 never happened. If you look real hard at the so-called videos, you can see small editing mistakes that prove it was a setup just to give us an excuse to go to war.

Just had to point that out. I'm going back to my poker game with Lennon, Elvis, Jimi, and Morrison now.

ummm, he was obviously being sarcastic, and even re-posted to say he was being sarcastic.

In plain text, what he said is that people who think we landed on the moon are idiots. Yes, when you add the sarcasm then it means the opposite which I acknowledged:
Although if he was being sarcastic then it doesn't really matter.

Sorry I can't detect sarcasm in pixels on a computer monitor as well as you.

There was a Rolling Stone piece from a while back that essentially summed up my feelings on the 9/11 conspiracy crap. Occam's Razor.

edit: here's a link to the Rolling Stone article:

RUMSFELD: Right! And we'll make sure that some of the hijackers are agents of Saddam Hussein! That way we'll have no problem getting the public to buy the invasion.

CHENEY: No, Dick, we won't.

RUMSFELD: We won't?

CHENEY: No, that's too obvious. We'll make the hijackers Al Qaeda and then just imply a connection to Iraq.

RUMSFELD: But if we're just making up the whole thing, why not just put Saddam's fingerprints on the attack?

CHENEY: (sighing) It just has to be this way, Dick. Ups the ante, as it were. This way, we're not insulated if things go wrong in Iraq. Gives us incentive to get the invasion right the first time around.

LMAO!

Great article, Art. ;-D
