I just had to brag about what Revver did

Behold, the new Revver promo:
http://one.revver.com/find/user/RevverE ... deo_108797

Revver now has its own mobile video channel on Verizon Wireless V-Cast:
http://news.com.com/Verizon+Wireless+re ... 39156.html
(This had been in the works for the last few months, but I couldn't say anything about it until the press release came out. It's two days old as so I forgot to post it here)

BTW, for you folks in the UK, Fame TV's programming is built off Revver video clips. It's kind of old news, but it's darn true.

I can't disclose our plans for 2007, but let's just say Youtube won't know what hit them. ;-) ;-D

Captain Blood has been on vacation since Thanksgiving and so it's been smooth sailing lately. :-b

Seriously, Steven is sort of the antithesis of the stereotypical Internet entrepreneur and I do mean that in a good way. He isn't the puppet master that runs the show, but instead, everyone is bringing whatever they have on the table and they're running Revver as if they ran the company itself, which I think is fantastic. Steven doesn't run Revver like a country club either, but he all wants us to have fun and so, he lets us be masters of our destinies, working on side projects as well as the task at hand, which can be of equal proportion at times. It's a blast to work at Revver. ;-D

The promo video, by the way, is pretty awesome. Are those Revver employees in it? The chick telling the story is kinda hot. :-b

PS - Oh, and "Captain Blood?"

Yes, those are all Revver employees. This was filmed before I jumped aboard. Revver's office at the time was expanding and so, you'll see in the background, some construction/renovation and now this office space is the main work room of Revver, which is where my desk is. We all have a good view of Hollywood.

Yeah, Micki is pretty cute, but she's a piece of work as she's kind of the rottweiler of Revver; most everyone has a bad opinion about her being way too confrontational. I haven't run into any problems with her, but I reckon she's a bit scared to talk to me because I have the reputation of marching to the beat of my own drum and not the company credo.

Captain Blood was an Errol Flynn pirate movie from the 1930's, but no one's taken that nickname...well, okay, we should all call Micki that. :-b

I'm sure she sleeps around... tell her I said hi though.

Speaking of "credo," apparently my small, insignificant IT consulting company bought out another consulting company called "Credo."

In a meeting discussing the merger, I nonchalantly said "Never heard of them, do they have any 'street credo?'"

No one laughed. :-[

Is it possible I'm not as funny as I think I am?

And the guy behind the network patch panel who says "Man! Revver is awesome!"

Yeah, he reminds me of me.

Will do. ;-D

Yeah, I deduced she's been around the block. I've never ran into any problems with her, but when most folks inside and out of the company believe she suffers from that passive-aggressive syndrome for girls called "cutesy-bitchy" syndrome, then you figure they can't be wrong. Those kinds of girls tend to get around the block.

Ironic you brought that up, but sorry, Cu, I didn't find that funny either unless you were wearing a Bozo the Clown outfit.

Well, if you see yourself as the "Man, Revver is awesome!" dude in the video and if your behavior mimics your perception, then you're pretty much as funny as Christopher Walken.

Forgot what the site was, as it's been over a month and a half, I believe, since I've stumbled upon it, but there's a cool site where you could mix that cowbell audio track however you way wanted it. Hilarious. I think Revver could use more cowbell too, but they're all over this cake in a cup craze at the office. ;-D
