What I post is my OPINION, I have never said I was a expert, you asked for help, I gave you my help.
I'm not sure what the problem is exactly or how many teams in your league BUT that looks like a very good team to me. You probably ran into some tough luck with the injuries to Johnson, Gomes and Rios. I have to like a lineup withL
C: Hernadez
1B: Howard
2B: Utley
SS: Hall
3B: Atkins
OF: Dye, Rios, Patterson
DH: Johnson, Gomes
SP: Sheets, Webb, Haren, Olsen, Bush, James and Johnson - this is outstanding - I'd kill for a crew like that
RP: Wagner, Nathan - 2 of the best and some decent spare parts
Bench is Ok with Feliz, Cabrera, Edmonds, Prior, etc.
I frankly don't see a problem unless you are playing in a 4 team league.
I'd be looking to move Prior, Edmonds and Feliz in particular for young talent.
Really need some more info. 5x5 roto? H2H? 12 teams?
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
With all of those pitching spots in your lineup, I would try to add a couple low whip, low era relief pitchers. You are pretty good as far as closers. I would try to get guys like Rincon, Linebrink, Zumaya, Rodney, or even Neshek. Non saves relief pitchers can help your whip and era. You also get some vulture wins, as well as a fair amount of strikeouts.
I hate to leave pitching positions blank on days that I don't have a lot of starters pitching.
Your bats are real good and your bench is deep. A few batters on the bench is good. Especially when they are good at different categories than your starters. You can switch them when neccessary.
I would try to trade Feliz, Blake, and maybe even Gomes or Edmonds for good non-save relief pitchers or maybe even 1 more closer.
There will be many new guys closing this year
Dotel for KC, Borowski or Foulke for Cleveland, Gagne for Texas.
You may even be able to find some good relief pitchers on waivers.
