Will Lidge be closing next season? Are there any rumors of changes in the Houston BP?

Lidge will be the closer heading into next season, but will likely be on a short leash with Dan Wheeler being next in line for saves.

Thank you, that's what I wanted to hear. I'm in a Dynasty league and i have Wheeler on the shelf. Got him for $1 last season when closers are going for $20 in my league.

I agree although it would be really nice if Lidge could get back into pre 2006 form.

Lidge will be on the short leash this year. I read an article about how the WBC last year affected his delivery and thats why he blew up. I still think it's the Pujols shot that got to him, just my opinion. Only time will tell but if I had him I'd also get Wheeler.
