So was her naked butt, which makes it fine by me...

The movie deals with their relationship seriously. Any movie that focuses on the relationship between a man and a woman is by definition a chick flick. Also, I do think they went for the tear-jerker type ending. I just don't think they pulled it off well and even if they did it's not like any of us are going to admit to it. :-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Oh snap!

Jennifer Aniston is not really chick flick fodder like Meg Ryan, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts or Renee Zellweger.

If it's listed as a "romantic comedy" it's a chick flick. End of discussion. This movie is listed as, you guessed it, a "romantic comedy."

Why do they keep making these?

At the end of the movie, they meet again on the streets of Chicago uneventfully. After some words, they part ways, glancing at one another while smiling.
