I just hope their is something going on in Stoneman's office.

I hope they bring some lumber to Anaheim, don't much care what postion at this point, although I hope its 3b or OF. If its Tejada at SS and OC must go, so be it.

It should be a interesting week.

Looks like Stoneman is gun shy.

He had the opportunities to pull the trigger to get a big bat and didn't pull it off. I'm disappointed but at the same time not surprised. If we aren't going to deal Shields, then we better lock him up past next season. He was at his highest possible trade value and Stoneman just couldn't let him go. Our pitching is the best in the bigs, but once again we will struggle to score runs.

So, I've read where if the Angels do not win this year, Stoneman may be removed from the GM role and made a consultant.

I can't imagine how he could be comfortable with this team's abiliy to win the division, and then get into the World Series.

Therefore I expect the Angels will make a move, my concern is they have bypassed their best opportunities and a trade now will be done out of desperation and be a bad one.

with the loss of rivera...the angels are really gonna struggle offensively this year...

hillenbrand is overrated offensively and will be a defensive liability...i really think we would have been better off letting morales and kotchman platoon the 1b position...

i hope our pitching can keep us in contention...

As a Rays fan, I'd do Crawford for Santana straight up, although I'm not sure the Rays front office would. The Rays need pitching, and Santana would be a solid #2 behind Kazmir, while Crawford adds the best LF defense in baseball and an impact, and always improving bat to the Angels' OF.
