Fletch will be played by Zach Braff. Yeah, that's right.

Do people really like Scrubs, or is its popularity a myth?

I like Scrubs. I do not like Zach Braff's "look at me, I'm the voice of my generation" ego. Dude, who cares that you picked the soundtracks for your movies. Most people can slap together a bunch of indie bands for a playlist. You're not hip and original simply because you put Snow Patrol and Imogen Heap in your movie.

people think he is some sort of a genius for writing garden state. i could write a movie in which natalie portman is my girl friend and it would also be great. hell, natalie portman, jessica alba and jessica biel will all be my girl friends at the same time. now thats genius.

Well I am one of the people who think Garden State is great but I don't necessarily think Braff is great. He has to do a lot more good work to be considered great. But reducing Garden State to a movie about being Natalie Portman's boyfriend is an unfair oversimplification IMHO.

I am not sure the Braff is the right choice for Fletch but according to IMDB it's just a rumor.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I was more pumped back when Kevin Smith was supposed to be doing the next Fletch.

I liked Garden State, i saw it without really knowing much about it, but now from what I've heard, it's very much overrated.

I heard great things about it so when I actually saw it, I was disappointed. It isn't bad but I don't think it was that good.

thats not really what i meant. its not about being natalie portman's boyfriend. its about being a zach braff ego fest. ok, thats a little bit harsh. its decent, but by the end of garden state i just didnt give a damn about the characters so for me the movie was basically reduced to random jokes like a shirt that blends in with the wall paper.
