The Reds and backup outfielder Bubba Crosby agreed Friday to a one-year contract that pays him $400,000 while he is in the majors and $75,000 in the minors. The 30-year-old spent last season with the Yankees, where he hit .207 in 65 games before being demoted to Triple-A Columbus on Aug. 4. He was the Dodgers' first-round pick in the 1998 amateur draft, and was traded to New York in 2003.
This happened 4 days ago. I think if it was anywhere near worth talking about someone would have already posted something. Besides Crosby is mostly just a factor on the defensive side.

Not very big news, but thought I would post it.
Kinda old news about Bubba.
Also, the Padres did go after Iwamura they just didn't win the bid over Tampa Bay. So...?

Most people on the Reds forum are comparing Bubba Crosby to the Reds signing Wise or Terrance Long. Bubba is nothing more than a reserve OF or a DFA candidate.
